Stephen Lee’s steel sculptures begin with an appreciation for the existence of a fundamental language that transcends explanation and is shared across all art forms. This language, akin to principals found in musical scales or food recipes, possess the innate ability to evoke emotions and sensations when arranged appropriately.

Lee is an emerging artist based in Dallas, Texas. The compositions are abstract amalgamations of his life-long created perceptions - tone & manner in objects, relationships between elements, beauty in motion, delight in rhythm and melodies to mention a few. When composed successfully, the language manifests personas of intriguing, complex beings that communicate their nature to the viewers.
